Michèle Morgan, one of France's leading actresses, has died aged 96. She became famous in 1938 with the release of film Le Quai des Brumes, where she played alongside Jean Gabin. After World War II, she was named Best Actress at the Cannes Festival for her performance in Jean Delannoy's movie La Symphonie Pastorale.
