Archive - Convicted Argentine Leader Jorge Rafael Videla Dies 

Magnum Photographers 

Former military leader of Argentina, Jorge Rafael Videla has died from natural causes. Videla was serving a life term in prison for crimes against humanity committed during his 1976-1981 dictatorship.
As many as 30,000 people were killed and many others imprisoned and tortured by the ruling Argentine regime between 1976 and 1983.
