(George) Romney For President?
Magnum Photographers
Mitt isn't the first former-governer Romney who ran for president. His father, George, campaigned for the Republican Party's nomination in 1968. Due to his inexperience in foreign affairs and controversial statements made in regards to the Vietnam Conflict, gaffe-prone George Romney quit the race, freely allowing Richard Nixon to get the party's nomination.
