At 70,327 gross tons and 963 ft (294 m) long, the RMS Queen Elizabeth II is a Cunard Line Ocean Liner. She was the flagship of the line from 1969. Prior to the construction of Queen Mary II in 2004 she was considered the last of the great transatlantic ocean liners and before she was refitted with a diesel power plant in 1986 she was the last oil-fired passenger engine to cross the Atlantic.
