Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is the latest, and possibly, most elaborate park in the Disney stable. It occupies a 202 hectare site, and cost some USD $800 million to complete. Initial research on the project began in 1990, but it was not until Spring 1998 that the park opened to the public.
