Benidorm's two beaches together create a sun-seeker's stretch of coast seven miles long. Its' reputation as a beer-and-beach heaven for foreign tourists such as the English and Germans has long been established yet it is easy to forget that the majority of visitors to Benidorm are in fact Spanish. However, as Parr's photographs bear witness, Benidorm has been transformed from the traditional fishing village that it once was, into what is now one of Spain's largest tourist resorts.
