The Chapel SANTA MARIA DEGLI ANGELI,recently built by well known Swiss architect Mario BOTTA represents a major innovation in the design of religious buildings.
Built in porphyry in Monte Tamaro,Ticino,Switzerland,it is situated at an altitude of 1500 meters on the edge of a steep slope,a position which allows an extraordinary panoramic view.The initiative of the project,done for free by BOTTA and CUCCHI,came from a local selfmade man,Egidio CATTANEO.
