The "Lobi Country" is a province in the south west of Burkina Faso, near Ghana and the Ivory Coast.
Three ethnic groups, Lobi, Birifor and Dagara, struggle to maintain their similar traditions and social patterns.
They are well known for their long resistance against French domination.
