Millions of dollars were spent on this years fashion week (Fall 2000). Modesty has been thrown out the window. Fur, jewels, gold, and leather were added to certain pieces just to add a bit more glamour and glitz. Wednesday, Ralph Lauren showed off his long, belted mohair cardigan coats, crocodile-skin jackets along with leather and gold. He took a turn from his usual mature sophistication toward a more youthful and fresh look. Calvin Klein was a bit subtler with his jersey dresses, pea coats, flared skirts, and cropped pants.
