According to insistent rumours the healt of Yasser ARAFAT, the Palestinain leader, is declining.
A report compiled by Istaeli military intelligence states that Mr. Arafat is suffering from Parkinson's
disease. He is receiving treatment for symptoms of muscular rigidity, but shows no sign of becoming
incapacitated yet.
Palestinan officials are ,at this point, dissmissing the rumours. However, the crucial battle for the succession
of Yasser Arafat seems already to be engaged.
