NANCY is an exceptional mixture of art and technology.
Many important indutrialists sought refuge in Nancy between 1871 and 1918 when Alsace -Lorraine was taken
by Prussia. They founded an urban artisitic movement which reached its peak at the creation of the prestigious Ecole de Nancy in 1901.
Today Art Nouveau is still present in the urban landscape as well as in the intimacy of sumptous villas built by enlightened owners
at the beginning of the century.
