One of the latest trends presently developing in Shanghai has been imported from the Middle East: belly dancing.
It begins from girls coming from Xinjiang province who belly dance in arabic restaurants to make their living then has been accepted by "office ladies".
Because the belly dancing movement awakes some part of "shy" chinese women bodies, this art is more and more popular in China.
The leading belly dancing school in Shanghai is the Isis Club, run by three young women. The school has some 400 students, most come to keep fit, others want to go further.
