Singer, actress and dancer Eartha Kitt passed away after a fight with cancer on December 25th, 2008.
She began her career as a dancer and singer but soon caught the eye of filmmakers. During the 1950's Kitt established herself as a sex symbol thanks in part to her racy Christmas song, "Santa Baby." She remained active until 1968, when she made a crass anti-war statment while visiting the White House.
