The Théâtre du Soleil presents " The Last Caravanserai ". The drama, inspired by the Iliad, Odysseus and the legendary Silk Road, deals with the refugees quest for asylum in Europe. The piece was written by a collective of different authors, they all worked on the play as a group. The first act, "Cruel River", is the description of the experience the refugees are fleeing from, the journey towards Europe, far from their shattered homeland.
