Israel.Sinai/Gaza new border near Rafah
Micha Bar-Am
For the nomadic Bedouin tribesmen and their families living in the Sinai desert, the completion of a new barbed wire frontier fence from Gaza through to the Suez Canal, which is being completed for the April 1982 new territories agreements, is cutting their land in two. Israeli military units are putting the finishing touches to this borderline near Rafah, between Egypt and Israel.February 1982.
