To celebrate "Joan of Arc's Day" and prior to the second round of the French Presidential elections, Mr Le Pen and members of the FRONT NATIONAL extreme right movement marched through the streets of the city and terminated at the Palais Garnier Opera House where he addressed his supporters.Among the crowds were "skinhead" supporters of the Front National movement, a group of which were accused of throwing a young Moroccan boy into the Seine who was drowned.Le Pen's party got the third place in the first round of Presidential votes, an extraordinary increase of French persons voting for extreme right policies.
