With a population of 8 million, NY finds itself with many lonely people. Lester LOCKWOOD has realised this, and the last 10 years has made a comfortable sum of money from this human tragedy. Ten years ago, Lockwood opened his fist FRIENDSHIP CLUB, knowing that social dancing was universal and is one of the more successful forms of social intercours.The first "ballroom" Lockwood hired, was located in the Bronx, and proved to be quite successful. He offered persons from 28 up to any age, a chance to meet and relax. Signs gret you wherever you turn, asking you to be social and get in there and dance. No tipping is allowed, and there all the convenciences of a modern ballroom.You can find your own age group on any Wednesday, Friday,. Sat or Sunday night at the club.The Bronx club became so successful, that Lester Lockwood now has two more.
