In early October 2015, <a href='http://www.magnumphotos.com/C.aspx?VP3=CMS3&VF=MAGO31_10_VForm&ERID=24KL53W_0' target='_blank'>Alex Majoli</a> travelled to the island of Lesbos, off the Greek coast to report on the refugee crisis. Thousands of refugees are stuck on the island, which was supposed to be a route on the way toward Central Europe, while local authorities are overwhelmed by the state of affairs.
