"India is as wonderful as it is crazy. It is so photogenic, it is almost overwhelming. This opportunity will allow you to see India in a different light, whilst developing your photographic eye" Martin Parr
Take a holiday with a difference and join Magnum photographer Martin Parr on an Indian adventure to the Golden Triangle. Experience the vivacity and colour of this exciting and unique country through your photography, in a specially curated experience from worldwide travel specialist Cox & Kings. With Martin Parr as your honorary photographic tour guide, you and a group of like-minded travellers will spend 10 days journeying from Delhi to historic Lucknow, taking in the sights of Jaipur and Agra along the way. You will be encouraged to photograph your travels, with an informal critique session from Martin each evening.
India is a favourite destination of many world renowned photographers and admired for its colour, culture and communities. In addition to famous sights of the Taj Mahal, the Amber Fort and City Palace, Martin Parr will introduce travellers to the growing photographic community with a visit to the Photo Ink gallery and lecture by Raghu Rai at his Centre for Photography in Delhi.
Martin Parr has photographed extensively in India, exhibiting there in 2010 and releasing his publication Martin Parr in India that same year.
