French presidential elections will take place on April 23 and May 7. They are already proving very dramatic with the withdrawing of the incumbent president François Hollande from the race and the elimination of his previous Prime Minister Manuel Valls in the primaries of the Left. Two front runners Ex-President Nicolas Sarkozy and Ex-Prime Minister Alain Juppe were also eliminated in the primaries of the Right and the Center.
Abbas followed both campaigns, focusing on the candidates with a caustic eye.
