Magnum’s First
Rediscovered in an Innsbruck cellar in 2006, the first Magnum group exhibition, Gesicht der Zeit, was initially presented in five Austrian cities between June 1955 and February 1956. After months of complex restoration work, the original prints are now for the first time presented in Italy. Magnum’s First is composed of 83 black and white vintage prints, featuring eight photo essays by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Marc Riboud, Inge Morath, Jean Marquis, Werner Bischof, Ernst Haas, Robert Capa and Erich Lessing.

Magnum : La première fois
Based on an original idea by François Hebel for the “Rencontres d’Arles” in 2012 the exhibition presents work by divers Magnum Photographers which points to the beginning or a turning point of their careers. « La première fois » is a unique exhibition, specially produced for Fondazione Brescia Musei in which framed prints and projections rhythm the presentation.
