World renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has died at the age of 76. The British scientist was famed for his work with black holes and relativity and wrote several popular science books including A Brief History of Time, making his work accessible to the general public. He fought a motor neurone disease to become one of the world's most respected and best-known scientists. Ian Berry has profiled Stephen on several occasions since the 1970s at home and study in Cambridge, and more recently photographed by Martin Parr and David Hurn.
