Milan Kundera Czech Citizenship renewed after 40 Years

After exile from his home country over 44 years ago, Czech-born writer Milan Kundera's citizenship has been restored. Kundera fled from Czechoslovakia in 1975 under political persecution for his writings and positions against the government, and in 1981 became a French national after his Czech citizenship was stripped in the late 1970's.
