Magnum Photos at Photo London 2019
April 25, 2019
This year at the photography fair, Magnum presents new and exclusive work alongside vintage pieces.

At Photo London 2019, Magnum is presenting work by Mark Power, Rene Burri, Martin Parr, Antoine d’Agata, Cristina Garcia Rodero, Jim Goldberg, Paolo Pellegrin alongside vintage works by Sergio Larrain, Ernest Cole, Herbert List, Harry Gruyaert and Susan Meiselas.

Jim Goldberg’s unique collage of his work in China will be exhibited for the first time in the UK.

Works that are featured in ‘The Body Observed’ curation at the Sainsbury Centre will also be on display. They include vintage prints from Carnival Strippers by Susan Meiselas as well as contemporary prints by Cristina Garcia Rodero and Antoine d’Agata.

Harry Gruyaert’s 1988 photograph from the “Bal du Rat Mort” carnival in Ostende, Belgium, is available as a beautiful vintage dye-transfer print from the 1989 Magnum exhibition “In Our Time”.

Another highlight of the stand is Paolo’s fantastic Antarctica composite piece taken from his 2017 trip surveying climate change.

The stand will also feature vintage prints from Ernest Cole’s “House of Bondage”.
