Karl Lagerfeld, the Creative Director of Chanel and Fendi passed away. As a fan and collector of documentary photography, Lagerfeld collaborated with many Magnum photographers on his collections and they photographed him behind the scenes of his shows, fashion houses as well as on art related projects. His work is largely infused with cultural and historical references, leaving an invaluable legacy.
