These two-day photographic masterclasses offer participants the chance to learn from Magnum photographers as well as a diverse mixture of industry leaders. Each workshop focuses on demystifying an aspect of the industry, establishing a professional network of contacts, understanding the requirements of the market and identifying realistic routes into photographic employment. Overall the programme offers highly valuable training opportunities for early & mid-career photographers.

The first day focuses on lectures from speakers about their specific area of expertise, giving behind the scenes tips and practical advice on how to survive and thrive in a highly competitive landscape. A second day of portfolio reviews with speakers will provide photographers with an honest and constructive critique of existing work. An informal drinks reception is optional on both days to allow for further networking.

Each workshop is open to 40 applicants and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Workshops will be held at the Magnum Print Room, 63 Gee Street, London, EC1V 3RS.

Running time for both days is from 9:30am – 5:00pm
