Creativity Works: Visual Storytelling with Magnum Photos

September 26, 2018
A 5-week photography programme for Londoners aged 18 to 24 years old.

Magnum Photos is proud to partner with <a href="https://www.createjobslondon.org/jobs/creativity-works-visual-storytelling-with-magnum-photos" target="_blank">Create Jobs</a> to offer a 5-week intensive photography course to young Londoners aged 18 to 24 years old.

This intensive course seeks to equip London’s young creative talent with the connections, skills, knowledge and inspiration to tell stories that are important to them and that inform and impact social change. Through a range of practical workshops and activities, critique sessions and talks, fifteen young Londoners will develop their own visual language and the skills required to understand photography’s ever-changing marketplace.

Under the guidance of Magnum Nominee Lua Ribeira, the participants will develop a body of work for an exhibition, responding to a live brief developed with It’s Nice That, one of London’s top creative agencies and publishers.

The workshop will culminate with opening of the exhibition on 22 November at Protein Studios.

Deadline for applications is 8 October.
