The Bristlecone Pine Forest in California's White Mountains is home to the world's oldest living non-clonal trees. "Methuselah" is thought to be almost 5,000 years old and is amongst the trees photographed by Alec. Its location is being held a tightly kept secret in order to protect it from the public.
While magnificent in theory, in reality Bristlecone trees are squat, twisted, weathered, and tired....
