On July 17, 2023 British-French actor, singer and style icon Jane Birkin passed away at the age of 76. Born in London, Jane Birkin was famous for her romantic and creative relationship with songwriter Serge Gainsbourg. Together they recorded the world famous song  "Je T'aime...moi non plus". She also had a prolific career predominantly in French cinema, starring in films such as  Kaleidoscope (1966), Slogan (1969) and La Piscine (1969). She went on to be the inspiration for the iconic Birkin bag.
