On Wednesday 27th of January 2021, Polish government implemented its new bill banning nearly all cases of abortion.
The bill had been initially declared in October 2020 when a new ruling from the Constitutional Court found abortion in cases of severe and irreversible foetal abnormalities unconstitutional. Protests have been taking place in polish cities despite the coronavirus pandemic ever since the ruling was issued.
Almost 100th day since its declaration, the Constitutional Court which is strongly tied to Poland’s church enforced the new bill. People immediately took the street all over Poland....
