"Mighty Times: The Children's March" has been nominated for an Academy Award for 'Documentary Short Subject.'
The film is about an attempt by Birmingham children to challenge segregation in 1963 Alabama. This is director Robert Houston's second Acedemy Award nomination, having been nominated in 2002 for "Mighty Times: The Legacy of Rosa Parks." Magnum photographer Eli Reed was working as the set photographer during the filming.
