These images, all taken outside major train stations in Moscow in august 2001, show one of the major intersections of life in the Russian capital. Daily commuters share the space with prostitutes, drug addicts, and working class citizens trying to carve out a living on the streets of Moscow. Through their portraits we live for a moment their lives and hardships and experience the many lifestyles of the Russian people.
