Ever since the young Bernadette SOUBIROUS is said to have had her visions, pilgrims, many of them sick or crippled, have been flocking to the grotto, hoping for a miraculous cure or a blessing by the "Virgin of Lourdes". Over the years, 66 'miracles' have been recognised by a cautious Church.
