American journalist and author Tom Wolfe has died at the age of 87. Wolfe, an influential member of the New Journalism movement, became well known with the release of "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test" in 1968. Two of his books were made into blockbuster movies: "The Right Stuff" and "The Bonfire of the Vanities."
