During the past 30 years Houston has experienced an influx of African, Asian and Latino immigrants resulting it in becoming one of the most diverse metropolitan areas in the US. Based on census figures, this same degree of diversity will be the norm for most US population centers by 2060.

On assignment for Pacific Standard, Alex Webb visited Houston and nearby Galveston to document this diverse Texas region.
