Haiti Three Years Later

January 21, 2013
In the era of CNN, Twitter, live-updates and twenty-four hour coverage of everything, our metabolism for news is faster than ever -- yesterday's stories have never felt older. It was just a little over three years ago that a catastrophic earthquake rocked the island nation of Haiti and, although it may "feel" a bit like old news in some ways, the wounds of the disaster are still fresh.

Today, The Daily Gallery features images of Haiti before the quake -- some rare George Rodger work from the 1950s, classically colorful Alex Webb shots from the 1990s, and more.
