Feature - The Stars of Alfonso Cuarón's "Roma"
Cristina de Middel
Alfonso Cuarón’s highly regarded “Roma” is a semi-autobiographical film set in Mexico City during the early 1970s. In January he won a Golden Globe for directing and in February he received an Academy Award for Best Director.
“Roma’s” primary characters are Sofia, a middle-class mother played by Marina de Tavira, and Cleo, a nanny played by first-time actress Yalitza Aparicio. In 2018 Cristina de Middel photographed both actresses for a Vanity Fair fashion assignment.
