On March 2020, the death of Breonna Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky and of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota fueled national protests over police brutality towards black women and men. With the growing use of body cameras and cell phones cameras of bystanders, the documentation of these preexisting crimes has further exposed the failures of American policing. Today, Louisville is experiencing record crime and its police department is undergoing a reform to bring back the civilians trust.
