BRAZIL. Bahia. Itacaré. 05 August 2020. Caio wakes up early in the morning. He wants to get ready as soon as possible and leave the house. It is winter in Brazil and that means rainy season in Bahía. His house, where he lives with his mother and 2 brothers is leaking everywhere. At night, the constant dripping often wakes him up, but because of the leaking, one of the beds had to be removed so he gets the room for himself once every two days. Tomorrow he will sleep on the sofa there is in the living room. Since the beginning of the pandemic Itacaré has adopted strict regulations for its 24.000 inhabitants. The access to the city was prohibited, schools and shops were closed, and a curfew was set at 8pm. Caio´s life and routine changed from one day to the next.
