BRAZIL. Bahia. Itacaré. 02 August 2020. Most mornings Caio ends his morning walk at his grandmother´s house in the nearby favela “Bairro Novo”. He prefers having lunch with them than with his brothers at home and he is always ready to help her with the groceries and also entertaining his uncle, Nêgo, who was born disabled and needs special assistance. Caio does not wear a mask even if he carries one in his pocket to prevent being fined by the police. He is also not worried about her grandparents because they are very strong. No information was given to him about the higher risk that elderly people run during this pandemic.
