BRAZIL. Bahia. Itacaré. 01 August 2020. One thing that unites all the young people in the little favela where Caio lives is football. Every day, lately only when the rain allows it, young men from all ages gather at the soccer field that a neighbor made for them in the street. The local league was suspended but, despite the absence of a structured competition, the game never stopped. It used to be an escape from reality, a time for leisure that would put a pause in their responsibilities but with not much to do, the daily football game has become almost a tradition in this new uncertain normality.
