Demolition of Tropicana Hotel and Casino. Opened in 1957, when it was strongly rumoured to have close connections to the Mob.

The Tropicana was host to a multitude of live entertainment, including the topless showgirl review known as Folies Bergere, which finally came to an end in 2009, after nearly 50 years. It remains the longest running show in Las Vegas history.

The demolition is part of a project to clear land for a $1.5 billion stadium for the Oakland Athletics baseball team.
