UAE. Abu Dhabi. 2024. Moatessim Hannuna, 7 yrs old with his aunt. The family moved from Zaitun to the aunts home because it was considered safer but at midnight on Dec 27th 2023 the house was bombed. 17 people were in the house. 6 were killed immediately including his mother and sister, the rest was injured. His father has disappeared and they have no news from him.
Moatessim suffered major wounds in his glutes and legs. His spleen had to be removed. The Emirates Humanitarian City is a housing complex in Abu Dhabi. It provides support and medical assistance to over 2000 ill and injured Palestinians evacuated from the Gaza strip.
