MEXICO. Mexico City. February 22, 2020. Diego, 28, chef and skater, single.
One night when he was aged 20, Diego was skating back home after spending some time drinking with his friends. He wanted to smoke a joint and decided to ask the sex workers in the area. They started caressing him and he gave in to what he recalls as a very sweet and satisfying experience behind some cars in a street nearby. Since that night Diego has paid for sex maybe six or seven times more, paying 500 MXN for one hour plus the cost of the hotel. He thinks men need to unload their desire frequently and any woman is good, and it’s better if you don't need to satisfy anyone and can focus on yourself. He thinks it’s easier to open up with sex workers as you aren't judged by them. He would still use the services of a prostitute even if he had a girlfriend, because the sex is different. He might even invite his girlfriend to participate in the game.
