TURKEY. Adıyaman. February, 2023. In the aftermath of the 7.8 and 7.5 earthquakes that hit southern Turkey and nothern Syria. Two neighboring women are planning to take some essential belongings from their not collapsed but dangerously damaged building. 150 kilometers from the epicenter, Adiyaman was one of the most affected cities by the quake. These two women have sent their kids to Istanbul to relatives but the catastrophe revived concerns about a potential earthquake hitting the capital in the coming years.
