Massive protests are expected to take place as calls have emerged and circulated on social media for popular protests to be held on November 11th on the back of a prolonged economic crisis.

"While I was walking in El Sayyidat Zeinab square, a man told me out of nowhere “عايز أتثوّر - I want to revolt"
These words could have had two meanings:
-The man was saying that he needs a revolution
-The man was cat-calling me
In both cases, this random and unsolicited statement was very representative of the current situation and intertwined struggles in Cairo. "
