Turkey, Ankara, 2025. Thousands of people gathered in Ankara during Chp ( Republican People’s Party) emergency congress to protest against the arrest of Ekrem Imamoglu, mayor of Istanbul and candidate of the main opposition party for the next general elections.

Imamoglu has managed to beat Erdogan's Akp party three times in previous various elections and has announced his candidacy for the next general elections.
