POLAND. Oswiecim. 1999-2002. Christmas carp fishing in southern Poland. The tradition of carp fishing in Poland reaches XVI century. Since 1930-ties the fish has become the Christmas eve dish. Since that time more than 20 tons of the carp has been fished every year.
