Due to the COVID-19 lockdown the annual Goncourt literary prize announcement - traditionally done in the Drouant Restaurant, happens on a Zoom call between the jury (Didier Decoin - President, Paule Constant, Eric Emmanuel Schmitt, Camille Laurens, Pascal Bruckner, Pierre Assouline, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Francoise Chandernagor ) and the winner Herve le Tellier for “The Anomaly†( “L’anomalieâ€), followed by a virtual press conference by the winner at his publisher Gallimard’s office.
