A medical dispensary where patients can receive treatment and preventative advice against various diseases such as malaria in Onuegbu community (Bayelsa State). In a historic move to fight against malaria in Nigeria, one million doeses of R21 vaccines were delivered thanks to the combined efforts of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, which supported the cost, transport and administration of vaccine, UNICEF and WHO, who managed the procurement and shipment, all working hand in hand with the Nigerian government. As Africa's most populous country, Nigeria carries the highest burden of malaria globally, accounting for approximately 27% of the global malaria burden and 31% of malaria deaths worldwide.
